DJWipeout from Hydrogenaudio made two changes to Flacattack. He added support for leaving the internal cuesheet, instead of stripping it out. Also, there is now support for par archiving.

I updated the GUI to fix a bug where the ogg replaygain settings weren't loaded correctly.

Update: Version 1.01 is out. It fixes a problem where, when certain settings in the ini file aren't set it doesn't do strict checking of those values. Also, the ini file has been updates with default values. (This was part of the problem.) I was using a bare-bones ini file.

Version 1.0 is now available for download. See the changelog page for changes and updates.

Version 0.95: I made another slight change. The CUESHEET metadata block is always removed now, whether or not you are embedding the cue.

Version 0.94 can now be downloaded. The CUESHEET metadata block is now removed if you choose NOT to embed the cue sheet. I also made a small change to the GUI so that you can't select to embed the log file if you haven't specified that you are using a log file.

I've finished the GUI. There will now be a download that has Flacattack with the GUI, one without the GUI, a separate download for just the GUI, and a download for the flacattack.ini file.

UPDATE: Version 0.93 available. I fixed a bug where the cue sheet was not embedded.
Version 0.92 is now out. There were a few bugs. You can see the changes on the download page.

UPDATE:
I just fixed a bug that affected special characters in cue sheet causing them to be deleted. New version is 0.91. Also, in EAC options => Filename tab, Naming Scheme should be %N - %A - %T or anything that DOES NOT have a directory structure, otherwise Flacattack will complain that it cannot find the cue sheet and will exit.

Flacattack version 0.9 is now available for download. The GUI will not allow you set all the options for this version and may appear to set certain options that it actually doesn't. (Sorry) I had to make some changes to the layout of the flacattack.ini file that broke the GUI. I would only suggest using the GUI with versions 0.7 and earlier EVEN THOUGH it was packaged with version 0.8. I have removed the GUI from the 0.8 download as well. See the download page for changes.

There is a major bug in version 0.8 of Flacattack. When ripping to individual flac files and another lossy format, you may have problems that will cause Flacattack to abort. This will be fixed in the next release which should be out any day now.

The next release is now available for download. Don't forget that you need the .NET Framework to be able to use this new version because it has been rewritten using C#. See the changelog for fixes and new features.

I am currently working on a new version of Flacattack. I'm rewriting the code in C# to see if I can get around some of the problems related to either PHP (or my inability to fix them with PHP :)). I have also written a GUI that will allow you to easily set up the flacattack.ini file. You can load an ini file, make changes, and then save the changes. The GUI automatically looks for the flacattack.ini file in the same directory as the GUI executable (fagui.exe) and loads the settings. If it does not find the file, then nothing is loaded and you will have to load the file yourself (File-->Load ini). The GUI can now be found on the download page.
